2018 ACS Fundraising Recap

A big thank you to all who participated in fundraising this past ACS season. With your help, we raised over $300,000 in the fight against cancer.

This year was a special year in that we did not continue our 18-year tradition of donating solely to breast cancer research. Instead, we directed the money to our local communities. At MotorWorld, we donated over $20,000 to the NEPA Relay for Life and local research. In Baltimore and Norfolk we were able to raise enough money to start a much needed transportation program for cancer patients going to and from treatment in these metropolitan areas. We will share more details on the transportation program as they happen.

We were also able to donate $15,000 to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge in Baltimore to assist in their renovations and upgrades to the 26 bedrooms they offer cancer patients who are going through treatments.
