Ellicott City Partnership Check Presentation

Heritage Toyota Catonsville presented a check to the Ellicott City Partnership to help those in need after the recent flood.
On Wednesday, November 16, Heritage Toyota Catonsville presented a $50,000 check to the Ellicott City Partnership to provide financial support to residents, business owners and employees of businesses located within the Ellicott City historic district who lost their vehicles in the July 30th flood.
The funds, which were donated in the form of a grant, were dispersed to 42 individuals that were impacted during the flood. At the check presentation ceremony, General Manager, Dave Gruner presented the check to the Ellicott City Partnership and County Executive, Alan Kittleman. The individuals who were impacted were also present.
Breakfast was available for all who attended, and Alan Kittleman, as well as the Director of the Ellicott City Partnership, Maureen Sweeney Smith spoke and thanked Heritage for their generosity.
Local television stations, including Fox-45, WBAL-TV and WMAR-TV attended to speak with our Heritage employees and those affected by the disaster. You can view the news story on WMAR’s website here.
