Twenty-four years ago, Ronald Ertley, with the help of his friend J. David Power of JD Power and Associates, opened Ertley MotorWorld in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. With 12 dealerships in one location, Ertley MotorWorld was the area’s first auto mall. Fast forward to today and the dealership continues to thrive.

Named MotorWorld in 2000, the dealership remains one of the few true Auto Malls in the nation, serving hundreds of drivers throughout Northeast Pennsylvania each day. Purchased by MileOne in 2003, MotorWorld houses 14 brands under one roof on 77 acres of land. It is often referred to as the area’s number one luxury car destination as individuals would have to drive more than 50 miles to find another Acura, Lexus or Mercedes-Benz dealership in the area.

At any given time, MotorWorld has 2,000 cars in stock and generates approximately 10,000 retail sales per year.
