The 2019 numbers above for Heritage and Silver Spring include the Subaru Share the Love money. This year's contribution equaled an impressive $80,000 donated from the Share the Love program across our three Subaru stores.
The Silver Spring Division did an amazing job by raising over $40,000, the most of any division, with the additional $23,445 from Subaru Share the Love. Through lunches, bakes sales and raffles, every one of their stores raised over $1,000 with Audi and Porsche raising close to $6,000, Subaru and Volvo’s combined efforts raising almost $11,000, and BMW of Silver Spring raising over $12,000. BMW of Silver Spring raised the most amount a store has ever raised without manufacturer assistance in the 20 years we’ve partnered with ACS. Thank you.
BMW of Silver Spring store Champions Cessia Amaya and Lindsey Lucero distributing lunches to employees at other stores!
BMW of Silver Spring BMW Genius Chris Mills, GM Matt Dolesh and Sales Associate Max Moyer manned the grill for multiple lunches.
Hall Corporate did a great job fundraising, as did Hall Honda Virginia Beach, raising $4,600 and $3,200 respectively. Another location to note is the Heritage Honda Towson Service Center. This service center raised $1,500, the most a service center has raised in recent history.
Our third annual online auction was a success and surpassed our goal of $20,000 to come in at $22,950. To those employees who won items, we hope you’re enjoying them and will participate in the 2020 auction as well.
2019 saw the start of our Travel to Treatment with MileOne program, a supplemental ride program for cancer patients going to and from treatment in Baltimore and Virginia. Each store has a poster that shows how many rides our program provided for cancer patients in the Baltimore and Hampton Roads communities. The funds you raised in 2018 provided 8,000 rides for cancer patients. The majority of the funds raised this year will go towards continuing to fund this life changing program in 2020. We will continue to have the Travel to Treatment posters up year-round and we will update the monthly numbers.
Thank you for making a difference.
