- Where did you grow up?
During the first 5 years of my life I lived in Europe, Asia and a short stint in Central America. But after 5 it was Baltimore suburbs. - Do you have siblings? Where do they live and what are they doing with their life?
None. I’m an only child. - What were your extra-curriculars in high school?
I worked starting at 15 and in my senior year did high school + community college ½ days so no time for extra-curricular. - What college did you go to?
I started at CCBC, then a semester at UM College Park and didn’t finish. - What was your major?
Public Policy - What was your career before MileOne?
I wouldn’t call them careers, definitely a lot of jobs. But I got into marketing working for Ratner Companies as project manager. I worked for the private label haircare brand and I was responsible for working with brand managers in coordinating new product development all the way to launch and training. Bottle selection, fragrance testing, bottle label design, POP for product launch and field training. And even one time had to be made up as a geisha for a product launch…let that sink in. (picture proof below) - What is your favorite kind of music?
I don’t have a favorite but I hate country. - What was your favorite concert you’ve ever been to?
I’m not really into concerts. - What are your favorite sports teams?
Wizards, Ravens, Orioles, Caps, 76ers (Allen Iverson). - What is your favorite food?
Right now it’s Mediterranean style food, but I like everything. I go on runs of eating the same food and then move on to something else. I don’t particularly love sandwiches, they do nothing for me. - What is your favorite vacation spot and the best things to do while there?
I don’t have a favorite. As I’m writing this I realize I have a favorite nothing! But I like OBX because its quiet, easy and accessible, but I also have fond memories of Hong Kong. The city is easy to navigate, there’s great food, shopping, and traveling to other parts of China was great. - What are the top 3 things on your bucket list?
1. Visit Mauritius
2. Take my boys to see the Great Wall
3. Travel by train to Lake Louise. - If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I can’t possibly answer this because there are too many places. Pretty much anywhere but here. - If you could have a discussion with anyone (dead or alive), who would it be and why?
Scott Hanson – I want to know what it’s like doing NFL Redzone every Sunday. Or Phil Rosenthal – is he really that dim? - What is your favorite car?
I’m not into cars like that. They get me where I need to go. - How do you usually spend your weekends?
Target, cleaning and with both my boys and niece (three amigos). - What is your favorite thing about yourself?
I’ll try anything once. - If you could be any animal, which would you be and why?
A parrott so I can fly and talk. Or a panda so I can sit and eat all day. And yay we’re no longer endangered! - What are your top 3 favorite movies?
Clueless, Grandma’s Boy and You Were Never Lovelier - What are some of your pet peeves?
Picky eaters, cabinet doors left open, dirty dishes in the sink, a drop of juice/milk left in the fridge
