Get to know your co-workers! Each newsletter highlights a different member of the marketing team. This month we are featuring Nora Harvey, Digital Marketing Specialist.

1. Where did you grow up? New Providence, New Jersey

2. Do you have siblings? Where do they live and what are they doing with their life?  I have two brothers - one older who codes for places like Chanel in NYC, and one younger, who is a senior at Gettysburg College. 

3. What were your extra-curriculars in high school? I played lacrosse and specialized in being angry and rude to my mom.

4. What college did you go to? Loyola University Maryland right down York Road 

5. What was your major? Communications with a minor in Political Science

6. What was your career before MileOne? Fresh out of college I wanted to be a lawyer so I got a job at a law firm as a paralegal, but about 2 weeks in they decided they wanted me to work on their website and social media and I discovered I hate lawyers.

7. What is your favorite kind of music? The groovy kind.

8. What was your favorite concert you've ever been to? I like all concerts that are a SHOW. 

9. What are your favorite sports teams? The New York Jets. They taught me mental/emotional strength.  

10. What is your favorite food? Dumplings, sandwiches, basically things encased in other things. 

11. What is your favorite vacation spot and the best things to do while there? Jackson Hole, WY – The snowboarding is great, the people are weird and it’s quiet. I was there before Kanye don’t @ me.  

12. What are the top 3 things on your bucket list? 

    1. Go to Asia - specifically Shanghai, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Singapore

    2. Complete a Sudoku

    3. See my cousin compete in freestyle downhill skiing (he’s 10 and doing backflips)

13. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go? If it were safe to travel to North Africa/Middle East, I’d go there. 

14. If you could have a discussion with anyone (dead or alive), who would it be, and why? Robin Williams, I think he’s wonderful.

15. What is your favorite car? Classic cars are cool. Purely an observation, I know nothing. 

16. How do you usually spend your weekends? Lately very little and it’s been great.

17. What is your favorite thing about yourself? This is an intense question.

18. If you could be any animal, which would you be and why? Polar bear. I too feel threatened by the poor choices of the world around me. 

19. What are your top 3 favorite movies? The Godfather, The Godfather Pt II and Hotel Transylvania.

20. What are some of your pet peeves? People who get on the elevator before you get off, inconsistent volume and any kind of tutorial.
