Dedicated Employee Lands Promotion

After 33 years of service, Tim Conners was recently promoted to Parts Manager.

Congratulations to Tim Conners who was recently promoted to Parts Manager of Audi Silver Spring. Tim, who has been with the company for 33 years, is looking forward to moving into this new role.

“I feel like I fit right in with this energetic group of Audi workers,” Tim said.

Tim became a team member in February 1983, and followed his career through as a Parts Advisor and an Assistant Parts Manager with Mercedes Benz, and now a much deserved promotion to Parts Manager at Audi Silver Spring.

“Tim has spent his 33 years here being a true role model, and is respected by all,” Jay Sponseller, Regional Director Fixed Operations said. “Congratulations to Tim – you truly earned this!”

On your day off, what could we find you doing?
I spend a lot of my free time watching my son wrestle for his college team.

What advice can you give to MileOne employees?
Always believe in yourself. Work harder when people aren’t watching.

Who inspires you as a leader?
Joe Gibbs, former NFL head coach. He always takes the blame, and gives credit to other people.

Where is the best place you’ve lived and why?
I’d have to say Mt. Airy, Maryland – it’s just a fantastic community.
