Gary is celebrating the New Year in style after his outstanding customer service resulted in a first for MileOne.
Congratulations are in order for Herb Gordon Subaru’s Gary Grace. Last month, Gary received a $1,000 check from Costco Auto Program for winning the company’s Driving Member Satisfaction drawing. More than 3,000 dealerships in over 40 states participate in the Auto Program that helps customers save money when buying a vehicle.
Customers who purchase vehicles through Costco’s Auto Program are asked to participate in a customer satisfaction survey related to the sales professional with whom they worked. Each positive survey equals one entry in the drawing for that sales professional. Costco also administers mystery shops, which are equal to one entry. A monthly drawing rewards sales professionals who provide outstanding customer service through the program with $1,000!
Gary believes the key to ensuring customer satisfaction is to make listening to the customer a priority. In fact, he believes in the old adage that we have two ears and one mouth, and they should be used in that proportion.
Who could argue with him? Gary has been working in the automotive field for more than 15 years, since he first thought the industry could be fun and that he had a “fighting chance of doing reasonably well.”
We’d say he underestimated his skill level! Gary’s victory gives MileOne its first winner in Costco’s Driving Member Satisfaction drawing.
