George Beal

Think perfection’s unattainable? Tell that to this Mercedes-Benz technician.
Mercedes-Benz of Annapolis Technician George Beal deserves special recognition for the feat he recently accomplished. In 2015, George worked on more than 700 vehicles and remarkably, he achieved a 100% Fixed First Visit technical score!
“To work on roughly 750 vehicles last year and have zero issues is an amazing accomplishment,” Mercedes-Benz USA Aftersales Operations Manager Brian Maloney said.
The Fixed First Visit technical score is a huge deal for all manufacturers. It is a measurement that compares the effective repairs versus the non-effective repairs within a set time frame. Moreover, it examines VINs which were in for service within a certain time period and looks back to see if the same VIN was in for the same area of repairs previously.
A veteran technician, George started his career roughly 18 years ago as a Mercedes-Benz technician at Benson Motors. He has always enjoyed the challenges of working on a Mercedes-Benz because he describes the make as the most advanced car in the world.
Upon learning of his score, George said that he takes pride in his work and treats every vehicle like “it is going to be driven by someone in [his] family.”
He has two daughters of his own, and we bet they’re proud of their father. Keep up the good work, George!
