MileOne team members continue to excel! In October, Mazda announced that Russel Mazda’s James Lorsong placed in the top 30 in the 2015 Mazda Master Technician Competition (MTC) qualifying test. The test is taken by Mazda master technicians and elite master technicians who accept the challenge to demonstrate their technical knowledge.
The top 30 is comprised of the top six test scores for each Mazda region. James placed in the top six in the Northeast Region. Each qualified technician competed in a regional two-hour on-car competition on October 10th, and each regional winner received an all-expenses paid trip to Irvine, California, to compete in the North American Mazda Master Technician Finals scheduled for February 2016.
We are happy to announce that James won his regional on-car competition and is the Northeast Regional champion! He will be headed to Irvine this coming February to compete against the four other regional winners from across the country for the opportunity to win it all. Congratulations, James, for a job well done!
