Samuel Winning, a NSX Master Technician at our Hall Acura Virginia Beach dealership, was recently chosen by Acura as the 2017 NSX Certified Technician. Courtesy of Acura, Samuel had the chance to visit California to study and learn about the Acura supercar. He is currently the only NSX Master Technician at his dealership. General Manager of our Hall Acura Virginia Beach location, Joe Cuellar, explains what makes Samuel one in a million.

On your day off, what could we find you doing?
Most likely studying for my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in International Studies.

What certifications do you have?
I have my Acura Master Technician certification.

What inspires you?
I think it is so important to teach the next generation that nothing is impossible. When we firmly decide “I can do it!” we can break through the walls of self-imposed limitations.

What motto do you live by?
Daisaku Ikeda, a Global Humanitarian and author wrote, “It is important to live true to yourself. If you become strong, then no matter how trying your present situation may be, you will not be daunted by it. It is important to live with tenacity, right to the very end, to boldly write your own history in your own unique way.” This is something I truly believe in and is ingrained in my heart and mind.
