Did you have any changes to your payroll and benefit details last year? Start 2016 on the right foot by making sure everything is in order.

With the New Year in full swing, MileOne employees should double check to ensure that all their payroll and benefit information is up to date. Below is a handy list of items you should be reviewing:

  • Has your address or phone number changed in the past year?
    • Updating this information will ensure that the payroll department provides you with end of the year tax statements on a timely basis. If there are any changes to this information, notify your payroll representative.
       
  • Check that your benefits section and deduction amounts are correct and included on your first paycheck in January.
    • If they are not correct, contact your payroll representative immediately.
       
  • Sign up for direct deposit and enjoy the peace of mind of knowing your money will be there – even if you’re not!
    • If you haven’t signed up for direct deposit, you’re missing out on a convenient opportunity to have access to your money. Because your paychecks are processed electronically, your funds are available in your account the day it is due.
    • You will still get a check stub detailing your pay and tax withholdings, as well as any other deductions you may have.
       
  • Once W-2’s are issued, please verify that your social security number is correct.
