An Important Announcement From MIS
Changes starting December 21st
Due to network speed issues, MIS will be adjusting the corporate policy as it applies to the use of guest WiFi in all MileOne locations starting on December 21st, 2015.
Our customers have reported that our WiFi networks are often slow and not performing up to their expectations. To address this feedback, MIS will begin to monitor the speed and usage of all guest WiFi networks throughout the company on December 21st. The goals of this new policy are to reduce the extremely high usage loads that slow information flow and to find networks that are underperforming in order to upgrade them to meet our customers’ standards.
What does this change mean for MileOne employees? Each user that signs into a MileOne guest network will be allowed a maximum of 24 hours of use in a 30-day period. Beyond 24 hours of use, users will be denied ANY further access to guest WiFi. We ask that you be respectful of our customers while they are in our dealerships and offices, and refrain from signing on to our MileOne guest networks for personal use.
