ACS Making Strides Update
Our relationship with the American Cancer Society (ACS) continues to create uplifting results, and it’s all made possible by the commitment of our amazing employees.
In September’s newsletter, we told you about MileOne’s upcoming participation in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer (MSABC) fundraising event. On October 18th, 215 MileOne team members were among approximately 6,000 walkers at the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Family Center YMCA in Baltimore City as the company celebrated its involvement as the lead sponsor for the MSABC 5K Walk. This year, the Baltimore region raised $88,000 to find a cure for breast cancer, the event’s largest fundraising effort to date!
MileOne began participating as a lead sponsor of the MSABC Walk in 2005. Since then, MileOne has helped raise more than $2.5 million to support ACS and MSABC.
A special shout-out is in order to all the MileOne employees, family and friends who made the MSABC 5K Walk another amazing success.
