Maryland Automobile Dealers Association Hall of Fame
On November 19th, Jerry Fader became the fifth member of the Maryland Automobile Dealers Association (MADA) Hall of Fame for his contributions to the automotive industry throughout his illustrious 35-year career. His induction ceremony was held during the association’s special gala honoring Jerry.
“Throughout our lives, my brothers and I saw first-hand that our father believed in loyalty, in hard work, and in promoting and celebrating achievement,” Steve Fader told the audience of 300 who gathered at the Woodholme Country Club to celebrate Jerry’s legacy. “He cared deeply about those around him and made it a point to know the names of everyone he came into contact with — whether it was at work, at a ball game or at one of the fundraisers he attended on behalf of the many organizations he helped to support. We know our father would be sincerely touched by this recognition from both colleagues and competitors who he respected and admired.”
The gala raised more than $150,000 for the MADA Foundation; the funds will go toward supporting educational scholarships for those who are interested in pursuing careers in the Maryland automobile industry.
