Russel/R&H Toyota
Russel Toyota and R&H Toyota are helping in the effort to keep Baltimore’s youth fit and healthy. The two dealerships recently donated money to the Baltimore Fitness Academy (BMoreFit). Russel made a donation of $5,000 at a check presentation on October 4th at Windsor Hills Elementary School, while R&H donated $2,500 and hosted a check presentation on October 22nd at Arlington Elementary School.
BMoreFit’s mission is to improve children’s health and academic performance by addressing obesity and physical inactivity in school-aged children, one classroom at a time. Founded in 2009, the organization targets low income, underserved and minority students in Baltimore City public elementary schools. It also promotes classroom-integrated fitness by delivering weekly health, fitness and education programming.
BMoreFit partners with five city schools, one of which falls within R&H Toyota’s primary market and three that fall in Russel Toyota’s primary market. Windsor Hills Elementary and Arlington Elementary will directly benefit from the donations.
