MotorWorld Toyota

In last month’s newsletter, we told you about MotorWorld Toyota’s donation to benefit automotive students at a local community college. This month, we’re thrilled to be talking about another MotorWorld Toyota contribution — this time to help provide shelter for women experiencing homelessness.

In early November, MotorWorld made a $5,000 contribution to Ruth’s Place Women’s Shelter, an organization dedicated to providing shelter and case management services for women experiencing homelessness while honoring the dignity of each guest. Located in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, Ruth’s Place is Luzerne County’s only emergency shelter devoted solely to women.

MotorWorld Auto Group President Rick Osick (pictured, left) and MotorWorld Toyota Brand Manager Jay Thomas (pictured, right) presented the $5,000 check to Ruth’s Place Women’s Shelter Director Jacqueline Tona last month.
