MileOne Subaru Stores Dominate the District and Earn Community Awards

All three of the MileOne Subaru stores had an amazing Q2 this year. In addition to sweeping the gold, silver and bronze for sales volume three months in a row, they all won the Subaru Love Promise Community Commitment Award.
Heritage Subaru Catonsville & Owings Mills and Herb Gordon Subaru were awarded the 2018 Subaru Share the Love Promise Community Commitment Award based on their charitable contributions in 2017. The national award recognizes dealers who make the world a better place by demonstrating their commitment to the passions and causes in their local communities.
Heritage Subaru Owings Mills and Subaru Catonsville showed care for their community through giving books to a local elementary school and donating Subaru blankets to Johns Hopkins. Subaru Owings Mills also donated to the Maryland SPCA. Both Heritage stores also contributed to the American Cancer Society as their local charity for Subaru Share the Love.
Subaru Owings Mills GM Shawn Davies commented, “I’ve been in the car business for 24 years. Subaru as a brand is probably the best brand for giving back to the community. We take it seriously, and we enjoy doing it.”
Herb Gordon Subaru employees donated their time to the Children’s National Medical Center through the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society where they delivered 80 blankets, 10 arts and crafts kits, and messages of hope. Sales Manager Jason Withrow commented “I was awed by the strength of the kids we met. They are truly heroes to be fighting so hard and still have such high spirits. It feels good to help in any way possible. It is a wonderful cause and we were honored to be able to partner with LLS.” Herb Gordon Subaru also donated to the Holy Cross Home Care and Hospice as well as the American Cancer Society.
MileOne CEO Steve Fader said “We put an emphasis on helping our communities in any way possible. The Subaru brand provides superb resources for their stores, and I am proud of each and every employee at our Subaru stores for making a difference.”
