Milestone Luncheons Recap

MileOne just wrapped up the 2nd Annual MileOne Autogroup Milestone Recognition Luncheons. This year, we recognized 338 people companywide for hitting milestones. 36% of all MileOne employees have been with us 5 years or more, which is a remarkable statistic considering the well-known turnover rate in the automotive industry. MileOne is lucky to have such dedicated employees on our team and we hope this program will become a time-honored tradition.
This year, Steve Fader, CEO, took the opportunity to recognize long-time employees who were not hitting a milestone but have given over 50 years of their lives to MileOne Autogroup. At the Hall luncheon, he recognized Gisela Doernen and Rose Atkins who have been with the company for 52 and 51 years, respectively. Both were awarded a check for $5,000 by Steve, along with his heartfelt thank you for their dedication to the company. At the MotorWorld luncheon, he recognized John Lutz who is celebrating 62 years with the company. He received an 11-day cruise through the Caribbean for himself and his wife. In the years to come, we hope to be able to celebrate and honor more employees who hit the 50-year milestone.
Stay tuned in 2020 if you are hitting a milestone. You will receive periodic emails containing information about selecting your milestone gift, the location of your event, and depending on the location, some helpful driving directions. We hope the 2020 Milestone Employees look forward to this upcoming event as much as we look forward to planning it and celebrating with you!
