MotorWorld Gives Multiple Donations to Local Charities

In October, Rick Osick, President of MotorWorld, met Karen Evans Kaufer, Executive Director, Wyoming Valley Habitat for Humanity, at a home being built for a deserving family in the area to present a $5,000 donation from MotorWorld Toyota.
MotorWorld has selected Habitat for Humanity as part of their ongoing charitable giving efforts in the community, with 2017 being their second year of support.

KISS Theatre Company in Wilkes-Barre received a $2,500 donation from MotorWorld to assist in their mission to educate, entertain, and enrich the lives of young people through the arts of theatre, dance and song.
The donation will go towards maintaining the programs they offer students, including workshops in improvisation, technical theatre, movement, makeup and wardrobe management, monologue, comedy, musicianship, ensemble building and the audition process.

In an effort to fight hunger during the holiday season in the Wilkes-Barre community, MotorWorld donated $2,500 to the Commission on Economic Opportunity (CEO), Weinberg Northeast Regional Food Bank's Thanksgiving Project.
The Regional Food Bank distributes food to charitable organizations that feed the needy throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania. In the past year, the Weinberg Food Bank distributed over 5 million pounds of food to more than 160 agencies. MotorWorld is proud to help community members, ensuring no family is without food this holiday.
