Ryan’s Run Team Breaks Fundraising Record with MotorWorld Contribution

This past fall, MotorWorld Toyota was a corporate sponsor of the local Ryan’s Run team for the second year to raise money for Allied Forces, an organization that helps kids and adults with disabilities lead a normal life. Allied Services is one of Northeast Pennsylvania’s largest nonprofits with a mission of “providing miracles in rehab.” This year, with MotorWorld’s contribution of $20,000, the Ryan’s Run team raised $611,527, the most they’ve ever raised.
The check was presented at MotorWorld Toyota in November after participation and completion of the New York City Marathon. Russell Oelschlager, a MotorWorld Pre-Owned technician, participated in the NYC marathon as part of the Ryan’s Run team for the second year in a row. “I was lucky enough to be selected to represent MotorWorld Toyota last year and I’m honored to be asked to do it again this year,” said Russell Oelschager. “WNEP TV’s Ryan’s Run is a great campaign that benefits Allied Services and I’m happy to be part of it.”
MotorWorld has donated a total of $40,000 to the Ryan’s Run team over the past two years. Division President Rick Osick said, “MotorWorld is always trying to be a great community partner. Over the years, seeing what Allied has done to help the lives in this community, it was only natural for us to join this campaign.”
