Dimitra Anastasopoulos was recently honored by Audi of America for her dedication to excellent service.
Congratulations to Dimitra Anastasopoulos, Service Consultant at Audi of Silver Spring, who was recently honored by Audi of America for her dedication to excellent service.
Dimitra started at Audi in 2013 as a Service Advisor Assistant. A year later, she was promoted to Service Consultant. Dimitra was awarded with a 2016 Top Service Recognition Award from Audi’s Service Consultant Monthly Award Program. This program offers Audi top performers the opportunity to earn rewards and national recognition.
“We have an amazing team of consultants and technicians here [at Audi],” Dimitra said. “I’m with them more than I am with anyone else, so it’s great to be able to depend on each other the way we do – we also have the best service manager to keep pushing us toward success.”
How did you get into the automotive industry?
I graduated from UConn with a degree in accounting, and did finance for two years at Stanley Black and Decker. I’ve always loved cars and working in customer service, so being a Service Consultant combines the best of both worlds. I took a chance to start a new career in the industry. It wasn’t always easy, but I’ve never regretted my decision.
What do you love most about MileOne’s culture?
My coworkers. I work with awesome technicians and consultants, who are like brothers to me.
Who inspires you as a leader?
I’ve been lucky enough to experience what having a good manager feels like. When you have a good manager you want to excel and do well not only for yourself, but also to make them proud. A true leader is part of the team, and is able to positively influence team members.
