Audi of Silver Spring Presented with 2018 Magna Society Award

Audi of Silver Spring has been honored with the 2018 Magna Society Award, making them one of the 100 top-performing Audi dealerships in the country.

To earn Magna Society recognition, dealers must demonstrate an exceptional level of customer service and a strong sales performance as a business.

General Manager Michael DiGiovanni said “we’re a highly dedicated staff that believes in the Audi experience. It’s obvious to our customers that we have a passion for what we’re selling. We won because our people are just being themselves. They’re amazing.”

This is the third time in the last six years that the store has won this award. Congratulations to the entire staff!

BMW of Silver Spring Awarded 2019 Center of Excellence and Maryland’s Largest Volume BMW Dealership

Congratulations to BMW of Silver Spring as they can boast another year as Maryland’s largest volume BMW dealership. They were also named a 2019 Center of Excellence recipient by BMW.

BMW only awards 32 dealerships in the entire country with the prestigious acknowledgement of Center of Excellence. The dealers are measured against their peers on 11 Key Performance Indicators, including customer orientation and sales data. The data is then calculated to award the top percent of the 340+ BMW dealers based on their annual performance. BMW of Silver Spring has earned this distinction by consistently demonstrating superior performance, with a combination of sales leadership and customer satisfaction that placed them at the very top among BMW dealers.

"Our management team had our sights set on winning the Center of Excellence Award from the beginning of the year," said General Manager Steve Gluck, "and we used the specific KPI’s associated with winning as a benchmark for our success throughout the year.” 

The store outsold every other BMW store in their region 6 out of the 12 months in 2018, finishing the year with an impressive 251 vehicles sold in December. 

“I attribute these amazing wins to a team mentality between all departments and all employees,” Steve commented. “Everyone strives to provide a high level of service to our customers at all times. Our customers can feel it when they walk through the doors, call on the phone or engage online. There is a saying that people like doing business with people they like. This business is still about the people and the culture within a dealership that ultimately makes it successful.”

Mercedes-Benz of Silver Spring Earns 2018 Best of the Best - Silver Laurel Award and Best of the Best - Manager Award

Congratulations to Mercedes-Benz of Silver Spring on earning the Mercedes-Benz Best of the Best Award for the first time! This was the first year that Mercedes-Benz created two tiers for their Best of the Best Award: Golden Laurel and Silver Laurel. Best of the Best – Silver Laurel acknowledges a dealership’s outstanding achievement throughout the year. 

The Best of the Best - Silver Laurel winners had to surpass 100% of their metrics across four Performance Points.

General Manager Jim Elefantis said, “We did exceptionally well in pre-owned and parts this year, which really boosted our numbers to get us into the new silver tier.”

Carlos Arias, Pre-owned Manager, won the Best of the Best - Manager Award. The Best of the Best - Manager Award acknowledges top managers based on the CPO sales and CPO sales CEI performance metrics. There are less than 100 managers who meet the qualifications to earn this prestigious award. As part of the award, Carlos will enjoy some time away in the Caribbean.

Herb Gordon Subaru Earns Maryland’s Largest Volume Subaru Dealership and is Awarded Customer Commitment Love Promise Award

Congratulations to Herb Gordon Subaru on being the #1 volume Subaru dealership in Maryland and earning the Customer Commitment Love Promise Award!

The Customer Commitment Love Promise Award recognizes Subaru retailers who demonstrate excellence in all areas of customer-focused performance. It highlights exceptional customer service that builds lifelong relationships with Subaru owners. Not only did Herb Gordon Subaru win the Customer Commitment Love Promise Award, but they are listed as a top tier store.

“We’re the only Subaru store in the area to have earned enough points to get to the highest tier of this program,” General Manager Ed Sarecky said. “This award is determined by the number of points you receive based on performance in certain categories. Our store hit the top level.”

“It’s the culture of putting the customer first that allows us to succeed,” he continued. “The culture we build in the dealership by having well trained, dedicated employees that really know the product and put the customer’s needs first is how we build an award-winning dealership.”
