Subaru Service Leaders Win Big at the Fixed Ops Summit

Herb Gordon Subaru Service Director Greg Edwards and Parts Manager David Higgins both earned spots to attend the Subaru Fixed Ops Summit in Panama City, Panama this spring. This summit only allows parts and service managers to attend if they meet certain requirements based on their performance.

Greg and David met the requirements of being one of the Top 5 in net hard parts purchases, were in the Top 5 for having the highest percentage attainment of objective for parts purchases and were the top service advisor “stars” in the region.

Division Service Director Jay Sponseller said “2018 was fast and furious for our Subaru store. Our success is 100% dependent on our leadership and everything both Greg and David did for us each and every day. Their work is greatly appreciated.”

Going to the summit is only half the fun. Greg and David can bring a guest and have a Panama experience of a lifetime – they’ll get to participate in boating through the Panama Canal, shopping and dining in historic Casco Viejo, a reception at the Panama Canal Museum and a dugout canoe expedition into the jungle for a cultural exchange and reception with one of the indigenous local villages.

“It’s an honor to have won this award and be invited to the summit,” Greg said. “Earning this award really was a group effort, though.”

“I am unbelievably excited for this opportunity,” David said. “I’m bringing my wife with me and can’t wait to experience the country and relax in the sun!”
