Toyota Catonsville Donated $7,500 to Salvation Army Angel Tree Program
The holidays are a time to be thankful for all that we have. Unfortunately, it can also be a tough time for families with limited financial means. The Salvation Army Angel Tree Program was created with those families in mind, and Toyota Catonsville decided to “adopt angels” and purchase $7,500 worth of presents for children in central Maryland.
Angel Tree is a Christmas assistance program that provides gifts of new clothing and toys to thousands of children, ages 0-12. Children’s clothing sizes, special needs, and present requests are collected and transferred to paper angels including the child’s name, age, and sex to get adopted. Advertising Director Katrina Pemberton, Regional Marketing Manager Danielle Szarka, and Regional Marketing Coordinator Laura Doherty went to Burlington Coat Factory and Target to use the funds to purchase these children winter coats, books, movies and toys.
