Workday Launch Schedule

Check out these important dates you need to know for the launch of Workday in November.
Workday will officially launch on Tuesday, Nov. 1. As you’ve heard, Workday is an online tool that will provide employees with the opportunity to view, manage and make changes to personal information, while managers will have the ability to access and manage their workforce in one, easy-to-use system. To help you prepare for the launch of Workday, below is a schedule of important dates you need to know.
Important Dates
Oct. 27-Ongoing:
- Check out the new Employee Portal Video found on the Workday page on HRConnection. This video will provide an introduction and brief training to the Workday system.
Nov. 1:
- You will receive an email from “MileOne (Do Not Reply) <mileone@myworkday.com>” which will contain your username and temporary password.
- All employees will be asked to begin using the Time Off and Leave Worklet to request time off and view time off balances.
Between Nov. 1 and Nov. 6:
- All employees should sign into Workday to complete the following tasks:
- Change your password
- Review your Personal Information Worklet and make changes if there is any data that is incorrect
- Review your emergency contact information and make necessary changes or add additional contacts as desired
Between Nov. 7 – Nov. 18:
- Benefits open enrollment begins! With Workday, open enrollment will be easier and more streamlined than ever before.
- Similar to previous years, your HR Generalist will visit each location to support you through the open enrollment process. This year, they will also show you how to use Workday to make your benefit elections, and answer any questions you might have about the new system.
- You will receive a Guide to Workday Benefits Enrollment at the start of the open enrollment period. The Guide to Workday Benefits Enrollment, in conjunction with your MileOne Employee Benefits Enrollment Guide, will help you complete the enrollment process.
